Resume Format for Actors

One of your most important tools you have as a performer, your resume tells about all the work that you've done (at least the most recent 5-6 items in each category). It is also the place to show what kind of training you have done, showing that you are serious and are working on your craft.

Remember great actors aren't just born that way, you do have to "sharpen the saw." When you stop learning, you stop growing.

Audition Bag Checklist
(List of items to take with you to an audition)

Anyone who has been on many auditions knows that there always seems to be something you wish you had brought with you for that critical audition. Since many auditions are not just down the road (more often that not, it's more likely at least an hour's drive away for us in northern CA!), you want to be prepared!!

We have a few seasoned actors among us and one mom has been gracious enough to share her audition bag contents with us all! Thanks Tracee!

If you haven't already started packing your audition bag, you need to do so. Use this list as a starting place, and customize as your needs dictate! You never know when that next audion call may come... and you want to always be ready! It could be your big break!

Good Luck out there!!
