Work permits are available from the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. We have provided the local Sacramento address and links for parents to obain a work permit for their children. Please remember that the work permits must be renewed every 6 months. You need a work permit for any minor child working in the state of California on an type of project. You must keep the original with you on set at all times. Also a guardian must accompany a minor on set at all times when working. Here's the local Sacramento office for submisson.
